I always have my eyes peeled for the next great thing, and for sure have found it!!! Rodger Chew has his new art collection on display in my boutique and I am in LOVE with these modern classics!!
Rodger is a local South Florida artist who creates "green" art using recovered canvases and art supplies dug up in his garage.  Think house paint, old electrical tape, and spackle used to create textural masterpieces!

Pink Chairs=Happy KP

Mirror on Mirror- Nice Touch

I have been in quite a re-do mood, with no re-do budget.  LOL  I have decided small changes can equal big changes and have been enjoying lots of little changes around my house that have equaled to a BIG improvement:)

I LOVE this framed mirror mounted directly onto another mirror!  It creates a much more sophisticated look in an instant!!

DIY weekend at Casa Pulitzer

OK, so this weekend is DIY extreme makeover home edition at Casa Pulitzer;)  Not sure how extreme it is actually going to be but I have HIGH hopes!!  Mac is going to be in the backyard with fresh mulch and adding "pops" of color to our jungle.  I am (in lieu of the office which needs a little more lead time) going to wallpaper the guest bathroom with family photos and things I deem worthy of decking the walls with.  I started pulling photos, framed canvases, and post cards last night!  This image has been in my idea bin for quite some time and I decided it is TIME to install this in my life:)

Chic Work Space, New Home Office:)

I have been stalking design magazines for inspiration for my new work space at home.  All this blogging has me in NEED of a chic space at home to dream up design boards and implement them into my new baby (this blog)  LOL!  I have an odd little nook in my master bedroom that is now SCREAMING for this makeover:)  I also have an infatuation with black and white interiors and this is calling me, KP KP KP!!  I think this cabana look and a new 3G ipad could create the perfect storm for my blogging heaven a la casa!

The world seems to get more and more complicated as I get older but I know God does not give us anything we cannot handle and EVERYTHING happens for a reason!!

My Fantasy Playroom

I often dream of my next house...actually I could be perfectly happy in an all new space every six months!  What can I say I LOVE change, I change my outfit at least three times a day!  I have a list of go to designers for inspiration and Alessandra Branca is one of them.  You can see her work here and daydream like me:)  These perfect children in their perfect playroom is putting smile on my face right now!!

White Paint Calms The Soul

Ahh, there.. now isn't that better.  This relaxes me just looking at it.  When I moved to Florida (from Texas) I was smitten by the tropical lifestyle.  And although I still LOVE the beach, the ocean, and wearing flip flops year round I am headed back to my roots!  I painted every room in my home a different tropical color and filled every bowl with seashells and citrus.  It was fun but I must say white interiors with old woods and antiques is really just more where my heart is!  I am starting my DIY white paint  project very soon:)


I will post pics of the renovation and the BIG smile that is going to be on my face:)

Black and White, the perfect canvas

After a nice weekend at home with my family I am inspired to make a few changes, mainly add this IKEA rug to the mix.  I am partial to black and white interiors with pops of color and this rug suites me perfectly!  What is not to love about IKEA?  Affordable, stylish, and  great quality!  Amazing how sometimes one item can transform a room, and this item defiantly does the trick:)
