2010 is almost here!!!

Time to ring in a new year! I am a huge fan of new beginnings and a fresh start never hurt anyone. 2009 was a very tough year for many Americans, my family included!!! The events of the year still have my head and heart spinning:( A lot of things were out of our control and that makes it even more difficult. The economy has ripped a hole through Florida but my spirit cannot be broken:) I am greatful to be doing what I love and have my children who are the light of my life! My boutique is such fun and after lowering the price points to a level where every girl and come in and cheer themselves up the girls are shopping again! Who does not love to treat themselves, and now they all can:)
I want to thank you all for your support this past year and look forward to bringing you the latest greatest in fashion this year.

Please save the date for my next Girls Night Out, champagne is on me and it is always a FUN night January 21, 2010:)!

Very Exciting Times at Kourtney Pulitzer:)

Well we are back to blogging! This summer was great as I got to spend a lot of time with my family and plan and execute my next BIG move! I have relocated my shop to a larger space in West Palm Beach. I could not be more excited to share even more fabulous finds with ALL of you. So everyone always asks me what is stylish? Well...Style is to me what works for you. My style is clean and crisp with elements of surprise. This is how I dress, how I decorate my home, how I like to eat, and so forth. Never take your self or your "look" too seriously! The beauty of fashion is that it is ALWAYS changing, some times I change my outfit twice a day and I change my bag at least every week! Your style should spill over into every aspect of you life and reflect the way you live. Do not be afraid to take risks or try new things in fashion and in life. BE STYLISH by doing the things you love!

Living lighter means you can rid your life of "STUFF" you do not need or use. Stuff keeps us trapped in our past and un-able to seek out our future. By simply weeding out the things that no longer fit you can make room for items that do fit and do not cause the anxiety of "when am I going to get into this". NOT FUN!! Be brave, be bold, and be modern!! out with the old in with the streamlined new:)

Feeling Minimal?

Let’s count it up:

1. Erin Wasson just had garage sale of her clothes because she wanted to be free of all her stuff, and adopt a more “utilitarian” style.

2. Kenzo’s auctioning off a bunch of his art a la YSL and Versace because he wants to live “more free, lighter”.

3. The over-the-top feel of the 80’s runways have made everyone groan “ew” and mourn the days when sequins, shoulder pads and mini-skirts weren’t all on the same runway.

4. This was all preceded by the death of the It bag, over and over.

So does this mean everybody’s over the 80’s before the re-runs have even hit the racks, and are going back to the times of simple lines and uncomplicated pieces (also known as a big part of the 90’s) already?

Are you feeling like you’re over too much fuss in your fashion (and life)? Or are some people just selling their stuff for the cash, and not necessarily for the free closet space?
