 I have always had a great appreciation for yoga and enjoyed the practice.  However, I was unable to find a local class that provided a challenge with the peaceful afterglow I craved.  At last I have, Angel, owner and instructor of Bindu Yoga Studio is flat out FANTASTIC!!  You can check out her studio HERE .  If you happen to be in town this summer, treat yourself to an hour of bliss and rejuvenation:)  If not, be sure to put this on your fall schedule. Perfect for busy moms who need to take care of themselves so they can take care of everybody else.

Family Movie Night

This summer has been filled with plenty of Family Movie Nights!  My kids love this tradition full of snuggle time and popcorn!!  I found these little popcorn holders at my local grocery and they make it that much MORE fun:)

Flat Stanley

This is my son's Flat Stanley visiting The Sabine River in Texas.  I recommend this "project" to anyone home with kids this summer.  Macky did it last fall as part of his kindergarten class.  You and your kids will have such fun reading about Flat Stanley and then making your own to mail off for an adventure.  Ask each person to take pictures of Stanley and write about where they took him and then mail him back to you.  We waited so excitedly to receive Stanley back and read all about his trips!

Darbster-Have You Been to WPB Hipest Vegan And Raw Spot

Check this out!!  I could hardly believe my ears when a friend told me about a new vegan hot spot right here in West Palm Beach.  Those of you that live in more progressive parts of the world must think this sounds CRAZY but there is NOTHING like this here.  We are so deprived of the things that make a healthy lifestyle convenient.  Sure we have a Whole foods (20 minutes away) but a quick place to grab a healthy lunch, brunch, or a family dinner!!!!  I am super excited. 
I am not a vegan,  just more a foodie that really enjoys ALL types of food:)

I would love to hear what the locals think of the spot??
We are heading over for brunch on Sunday:)

This weekend is going to be tough to top for a while!!  My spring 2010 runway show was a smashing success, phew!  I showed the collection at Palm Beaches chicest ocean resort, The Omphoy "O" Bar
We packed the house with over 300 guests and closed the place down after dancing all night and lounging in oceanfront cabanas.   DJ Adam Lipson put on and AMAZING all Gutter Boys music set that kept the scene in full motion:)!!

Some of Palm Beaches most notorious natives rocked the runway and showcased the talented young designers I represent.  They strutted down a seaside garden runway created with live coastal linear arrangements that were adorned with twig size dried bamboo and miniature glowing lanterns hanging to create the ultimate evening spring stroll.
"O" Bar created a signature cocktail "The Native" that was refreshing and perfect for a Florida evening under the stars. (recipe will be posted in the next few days)

I cannot express how GRATEFUL I am for all my clients and friends who came out to support me,  my boutique and my vision for keeping fashion FUN, Fabulous, and affordable...I am truly overwhelmed and honored that so many of you are loving what I do!!

Remember to do what you love and love what you do!

For me that means immerseing myself in fashion and design, nurture my LOVE of music and dance, and enjoying every minute with my children:)

Ahhhh!!! It is almost here!!  I am very excited to bring you all the spring collections available in my boutique for 2010.  I am hosting "A Night With The Natives" this Saturday at The Omphoy Ocean Resort at 8:30 pm.  You can view the formal invite here.  All the models have finalized their fittings, the pieces have all been steamed, every look has been styled with FABULOUS jewelry and accessories, The garden runway has been designed, and now we just wait to see youALL there;)

Beach Time

This sums up my beach trip I am planning this weekend.  Yes we live less than a mile from the beach and we will be posted up there all day on Sunday...cannot wait!!  My kids are ready to break out their surf boards and I am ready for some fun in the sun.  Picnic lunch, buckets for collecting "stuff", snorkeling or surfing depending on the conditions, and  all day sun on our bodies=heaven.  We are headed just south of the flagpole in PB and we are totally "stocked"

Weenend Treat

If this weekend in South Florida was not your idea of perfect weather..well I just do not know about that!!  It was just perfect and we made it all about the kids:)  St. Julianna Irish festival all day Saturday and a kid party at our house on Sunday.  You cannot imagine the sheer joy that came over the kids in the pool when they heard the ice cream truck!!!  It truly felt like spring break and I have the sunburn to prove it:)

Have A Great Weekend

Field Trip...this is a MUST see for PB county residents

So, if you have not been to and taken your kids to The girls strawberry u pick you should right away!!  We went for a field trip and I decided to take both my kids along for the ride:)  When you pull up it looks like an average old Florida shopping center.  When you walk into the old fashioned ice cream parlor and kids dream candy store it is very obvious it is much more.  Just walk out the back door, grab your bucket for your fresh picks, and enter an old Florida wonderland and a truly charming experience.

Acres and acres of hydroponic strawberries stacked in planters so you can pick them very easily!

Lucy (my 4 1/2 year old) has a huge thing for strawberry shortcake and was really BESIDE herself the entire day:)  She particularly LOVED this old car:)

When we got home we decided to make this strawberry pie, what a fun way to spend the day with my kids!!

Almost there!!

Well here is it:)  This was such an amazing way to spend the day with my kids!!  The Girls strawberry u pick was oozing with old Florida charm and I loved every minute:)

Back on the horse,aka the treadmill

Well after a long( in my book) hiatus from the gym (three weeks)  I am BACK!!  There is just no better feeling in the world than the feeling I have after a great workout:)  Today I did 20/20/20 circuit training at 180 Fitness and damn I feel good!!!!  I encourage you all to try this or any class and get yourself in gear:)  There is nothing better to a fashionista than feeling good in your skinny jeans lol!!  Amazing the amount of "stuff" that clears out of you head as well, adios stress!!!
